That means open the corner of your LG washing machine and open the end of the pipe and water will come out so get lots of bowls and put the pipe over the bowl and wait till the water runs out and pour the water out of the bowl in the sink and close the corner of your LG washing machine and wait a few minutes.

SOURCE: LG Washer LE Error

I replaced my hall effect sensor about two weeks ago and just hooked the machine back up a few dags ago. My wife ran about 5 loads through it and it shut down with the LE code again!!! I ordered the part from MCM Electronics and they are sending me a replacement part for free since the first one lasted only a day. Hopefully this is the last time I have to replace this part. It would be great if someone knew how to bench test one of those sensors so I could know for sure if my first one is really defective. I always have a hard time believing when a new part fails so soon.

SOURCE: LG wash machine # wm 2277 hb front loader display flashes LE wont

We had the OE message come up and did the above procedures...that didn't fix it. I removed the dual pump modules (they come off in one piece...one is the recirculating pump, the other is the drain pump). Turns out, the drain pump impeller design sucks. Even though it turned when I put power to the pump, that doesn't mean your pump isn't bad. Once it is under load pumping water, the impeller can slip where the pin connects to it from the motor. We replaced the motor for $60 and that fixed the problem. Our unit is at least three years old and we have a family of four, so it does get used quite often. Nobody told us about the filter at the bottom of the unit and I figure if we knew this ahead of time, we probably could have avoided the impeller issue...but it is still a sub-par designed motor/impeller. The new one I ordered looks like an updated design so I don't see this happening again. It is quite easy to remove and replace the pump, btw.

SOURCE: How do you change the front door seal on a LG 7kg

Well I have the manual. If you want it.If the problem is water leaking out the door LG recommends you shim the door latch with washers. This would make the door close tighter and eliminate leaks. See page 36

What is the meaning of imagerunner 2525 E000020?

The error code E000020 on a Canon imageRUNNER 2525 indicates a problem with the temperature of the fixing assembly. The fixing assembly is responsible for fusing the toner onto the paper and consists of a heating element and temperature sensors. When the temperature of the fixing assembly is outside of the specified range, the E000020 error code is triggered.
Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:
  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Wait for a few minutes and then plug the printer back in and turn it on.
  3. Check the temperature of the room where the printer is located. If the room is too cold, the fixing assembly may not be able to heat up to the proper temperature. Try moving the printer to a warmer location.
  4. Inspect the fixing assembly and its wiring for any signs of damage or wear. If the heating element or temperature sensors are damaged, they will need to be replaced.
  5. If there are no visible signs of damage, the temperature sensors may need to be reset or replaced. Consult your printer's user manual or contact a professional printer technician for assistance.
It is worth noting that attempting to repair the printer yourself can be dangerous and may void any existing warranty on the device. It is recommended that you seek the help of a professional printer technician to diagnose and fix the issue.

Jennair 48" refrigerator completely dead, absolutly no power, no life. Had it repaired, replaced controller board once a year ago cost me $600 but now suddenly just shutoff. Any suggestions

probably the same fault again
call a technician to properly diagnose the fault and a quote and if it is the same fault , consider replacing the unit with a more reliable machine
a money saver here is to run the unit through a surge protection unit as program boards are subject to failure from any power surges

My Bosch WFL1800 starts cycling when turned on. Regardless of the settings is just cycles and wont progress. Is it worth fixing?

I would get in a technician to diagnose the fault and get a quote before considering a new unit
It may be a simply program board failure and then make that replacement decision after you find out if a replacement board is available and the cost

What does F70 mean on a front load dryer?

Hello Carol;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.

F70:

No communication between the electronic control board and the user interface control board assemblies.

Unplug the dryer. Check the wire harness connections between the main electronic control board and the user interface control board assemblies. If the connections are sound, have a technician diagnose the cause of the communication failure. The main electronic control board and/or the user interface control assemblies might need to be replaced.

What does F11 error message stand for on my Whirlpool awo 9565 washing machine?

The F11 fault code indicates a serial communication error between the Machine Control board and the Motor Control board. This can be caused by several different problems.

A failed Machine Control board could be failing to provide the Motor Control board with proper voltage. If this is causing the F11 code, then the Machine Control board would need to be replaced.

The Machine Control board could also be failing to supply proper voltage to the door lock assembly. The Machine Control board would need to be replaced for this failure as well.

Voltage flows from the Machine Control board to the Door Lock Assembly. The Door Lock then energizes and closes the Door Lock MAIN Switch. Voltage flows out of the Door Lock Main Switch to the Motor Control board. So if you have power into the Door Lock Assembly but not out of the Main Door Lock Switch, it will give you an F11. If so, you will need to replace the Door Lock Assembly.

You could have a bad Motor Control board that is causing this failure. A bad wiring connection between the Motor Control board and the Machine Control board could also cause this fault code. A bad wiring connection between the Motor Control board and the drive motor is also a possible failure. A failed drive motor could also cause the F11.

With so many possible causes for this failure, I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair the problem in your washer. If you are able to unplug the washer and check the wiring connections, you may be able to find a loose wire harness connection that is causing the problem. Much of the diagnosis for the potential problems noted above requires live voltage checks. I do not recommend conducting these types of checks yourself. Unless you want to take a chance and replace the Machine Control board and the Door Lock Assembly,

Kenmore electric dryer, elite, model # 110.87892601 has a code on panel, F70. won't do anything, just keeps "dinging" and code keeps flashing.

F70 code is a loss of communication between the machine control board and the console. Usually the machine control board is the cause.

Before you do anything to troubleshoot do the following. Take a hand held hair dryer and dry off the keypad area making sure NOT to over heat the area. Moisture from condensation gets into the keypad and causes it to stop working and you get your beep. It takes a while but in 10 to 15 minutes after you started the drying process try starting the dryer

A tech that does not know about this will change the over $300.00 machine control board and you still have the same problem. I would insist they install my board again!
Watch the video at the bottom of this post:

Sometimes when a heating element fails it will also trip just ONE dryer Circuit Breaker. Reset the CB by pushing it hard to OFF and then back to ON. If the CB trips as soon as you try to start it the heating element is probably grounded to the holding fixture. If it works now with no heat the heating element has failed. (Rare but this does happen)

IF drying out the keypad did not correct the problem, most often it is either the machine control board or the motor that fails.

Kenmore Elite dryer is showing F70 message code. What does that mean?

The "F70" fault code indicates a lack of communication between the machine control board and the console assembly. This type of failure code may require voltage tests using a volt ohm meter if you are not able to locate any loose wire connections. NOTE: I do not recommend checking voltages unless you have experience and feel safe and confident in doing so otherwise I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your dryer. I added instructions in the image below on how to access and what to test and the wiring diagram. I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your dryer if you are not able to diagnose the failure yourself using the information I added below. The overheating has nothing to do with the error code. The overheating could be caused from not cleaning the lint filter, restricted vent system, heater relay sticking closed or a loose connection in the thermistor circuit. I will not be able to provide any part numbers without knowing the specific model number of your HE5 dryer. You can look up part numbers at Sears Parts Direct by entering your model number in the model number field. F70 diagnostic steps:
  1. Check for a loose wire harness connection between Console Electronics and Machine Control.
  2. Check the connections between Power Cube and Console Electronic
  3. Check for 120 VAC at Power Cube from P1-1 (L1) to P1-2 (N).
  4. Check for 5 VDC from P2-2 and P2-1 from Power Cube to Console Electronics.
  5. Check for 5 VDC on the Console Electronics at P003-2 (+5) to P003-3 (Gnd).
  6. Check for 5 VDC on the Serial COM connector on the Console Electronics side at Pins P005-3 (VDD) to Pins P005-1 (VSS3).
  7. Check for 5 VDC on the Serial COM connector on the Machine Control side at Pins P2-1 (VDD) to Pins P2-3 (VSS).
  8. If the voltage is not correct then replace the appropriate component or harness.
If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

My front loading GE WASHER WILL NOT DRAIN OR SPIN THIS MACHINE ISN"T VERY OLD WHAT COULD THE PROBLEM BE?

A common occurance is blockage of the water pump propellers. Check your machine's manual to familiarise yourself with the drain filter.

Please note by openning the filter, the existing water in the machine will drain out on to the floor. Be prepared for this with towls and mops.

Clean out the filter. Use a torch to look into the cavity and make sure nothing has gone through the filter to the pump propellors.

Once the filter is clean and all the water has drained out. Start the machine on spin cycle. If you can hear the water pump working then all should be well. If there is no sound from the water pump, it needs replacing or further investigation by a technician.

Good Luck.
