SOURCE: The screen shows ''Weak Signal'' and no picture.

Mine did the same thing once. I think all I did was hit the setup on the remote, and let it run back through all the channels and then it worked just fine.

I hope this works for you.

How do you make a disk of pictures whiling playing music

Beth
You didn't specify what OS you are using.
If it's OSX then it's easy using iTunes & iPhoto to select a group of photos and background music.
My slide show on my MacBook gets transferred to the Apple TV automatically and shows up on my Plasma 50" Screen.
Cheers

I have a yamaha dvd-c750. I have just created a slideshow using iphoto on a Mac, burnt to a TDK DVD +R. Inserted into the DVD drive. Machine tries to load it. Gives a message "unknown disc"? ...

DVD players can be picky with the type of file format that they use. According to an amazon.com review of this player, it does read DVD+RW/+Rs & DVD-RW/Rs so the problem probably resides in your file format.

The problem is probably the fact that the DVD Player does not recognize the file format of your Mac slide show. The computer recognizes this format, as it plays the slide show. The DVD player recognizes JPG file formats, which is the standard format of a picture.

If a DVD is made with JPG Files, not your slide show files, it will display thumbnails of each picture, allowing the choice of what picture to view.

If the slide show is a must, try to save it to a video file format, such as a *.mpg or *.avi which are common video file formats. These files would be movies of the slide show that you have made.

How to make a slide show on youtube?

Hi,

Kindly visit the link below for a visual, step by step (easy to follow) instructions on how to make a slide show with pictures and background music, and upload it on youtube.

http://www.lostintechnology.com/software/how-to-create-a-slideshow-using-google-picasa

For you to complete these more easily and effortlessly, I would recommend to sort all the pictures that you want to include in the slide show and to choose the appropriate background music before you even start creating your slide show.

Enjoy, and Thanks for using FixYa.

I made and successfully burned my first slideshow. Now I made a second slideshow. When I click on "burn" my slideshow doesn't show up. The picture box there is empty.

go back and see where you kept the first slide show. Rename and move it to a new folder.
now try the new slide show again and see if it works.

How can I see a Microsoft Power Point slide show, size 3.30MB ?

Unless your picture frame supports Power point files you can't load it straight on to it, but you could try this.
  1. Open the powerpoint file in MS Powerpoint (or download the free powerpoint viewer)
  2. Use the Print Screen button (also marked PrtSc) to copy the screen to the clipboard
  3. Paste into a picture program (such as MS Paint, free with Windows)
  4. Save the files as a JPEG
  5. Load these onto the picture frame
Hope this helps

Sola SL D-104 Digital Frame Reading Flash Drive Pictures

I too gave a Sola SL D-104 for Christmas with 580 pictures on an 8 GB flash drive. I had no problem with the frame reading and displaying all pictures in continuous slide show plus looping at the end and starting over. Simply use the "Slideshow" button on the remote. Perhaps there were hardware problems with the drive or the frame. My 580 .jpg photos only used about 0.9 GB, so it might be easy to try another drive for only 300 shots. Were they all .jpg formats? The frame is fussy as to file format. Hope that helps.
