Moved into a house with a Ranger 8980E security system that we have done nothing with for 4 years without a problem - don't have any codes or info. Last night the keypanel in our bedroom started chirping sporatically. It's driving us CRAZY! I can't find any battery to replace. The only keypad beeping is the one in our bedroom. WHat can I do to stop it?????

Presumably, you disconnected the battery when you replaced the fuel pump? Did you reset the anti-theft immobilizer and security system?

The previous owners should give you the code it it was mentioned in the house sale. The unit is probably no use without a monitoring contract. You can't probably reset everything by removing the motherboard battery, but it says in the link that the code is in the manual. My initials are 'ADT'.

What is it you want to know? The manuals usually do not provide any info that you can't learn in one use of the hot tub. You can't break anything by turning knobs or pushing buttons.
If you want to know how to program your spa, then that is different. Please provide the make, & model of your specific spa control system. This info is found on a label on the metallic or plastic load box that house the spa's circuitry. If there is a s/n and or a code number that will assist as well.

if you have locking hubs then yes. They could have been put together wrong. But if non locking then have it inspected to be sure nothing is off. It should be easy to find if something was left off.

Get another universal remote and program it.
