Transfer music to MP3 from my phone

If you'a an iPhone user, you can use iTunes to transfer music from iPhone to computer first. You may have well known that iTunes only transfers purchased items from iPhone to iTunes library, so iPhone users can move purchased songs from iPhone to iTunes library.
  1. Run iTunes and click "Edit > Preferences > Device > Prevent iPhones, iPods and iPads from syncing automatically" at the upper left corner of iTunes window.
  2. Plug iPhone into computer via the USB cable, and then click "File > Device > Transfer Purchases" at the upper left corner.
  3. iTunes will start to sync all the purchased items back to its library.
After the syncing process, you will get the music files in your iTunes library, including the purchased music files. You are able to find the music files in the folder of your iTunes media files on your computer.

The next step is really easy. Since the music you want is already saved on your computer, you can now simply connect your MP3 player, drag and drop to transfer songs.

On the contrary, here's also a guide about Three Ways to Transfer MP3 Files to iPhone in case you need help.

TI connect not working

Even if you cannot connect it to the computer you can still transfer applications from a working calculator.

Here is a copy of a post I wrote to answer your question.

If you have a USB SilverLink cable, use it to connect the calculator though the I/O (round) port.
If you do not have a USB SilverLink cable, you can use the mini USB to USB Direct cable but you will have to install the correct driver for it.

I do not know what computer operating system you are running and I use Windows XP so I will describe the installation procedure for Windows XP SP3.

Install TI connect 1.6 for Windows; if your system is Vista you must install a patch available on the TI website, at the same page where you find TI Connect.

After you install TI Connect, connect you calculator to the computer with the mini USB standard USB Direct cable. Windows will detect the calculator and will try to install the drivers. You will have something that is similar to what is on the three screen captures I am inserting in the post. On the last screen, choose the TI Educational Handheld device and click next.

When Windows asks to stop installation, click continue anyway

After the installation, click finish.

Device manager will show you something like what is on next screen (TI Educational Handheld device)

Run TI Connect to verify that the calculator is recognized. Connect your computer to the Internet and click the Updates Button on the TI Connect tool bar.

I no longer have the transfer disc but have new laptop I do not have the nikon transfer software that came with the camera. I want to take the pics I have taken off of my camera transfer over to laptop

Hi,
Connect the camera to your computer with the USB cable. Wait for the operating system to detect the camera.
Double click on Computer or My Computer. In the list of drives you should see "Removable Devices". Double click on that/them and copy the files to the computer.

If the computer does not see the card (removable device) then check that it's inserted properly in the camera and that the write protect switch is in the off position.

Failing that if you purchase a card reader you can take the camera card out and put it in the card reader and connect it directly to a USB port on the computer to transfer your flies.

Regards.

Sansa e200

There is one option, not really a fix, just a workaround. Try the player on a different computer computer and see if it is recognnised there. If it is, then use something like a pen drive to transfer music from the PC that doesnt recognise the device to another that does. Now you can transfer music using the WMPlayer sync service.

If your device is not being recognised on many computers, it looks like it is time to chuck it away. You can also try this first though..
1. Remove the player from the PC and switch it off.
2. Restart the computer.
3. Hold the +Volume button and connect to computer.
4. Keep the button pressed for at least 60 secs, and you should see the "Found New Hardware" balloon pop up, indicating that the device has been detected.

If even that fails, then I'm afraid your Sansa player has run its course, and you may need to purchase a new player...:(

Device manager wont detect my gogear HDD1630/17 even though i recently updated the software and driver, also my device is frozen on "Please connect player to pc". I can't even get it back to the menu...

I was experiencing this similar problem, and from my research so were alot of other people, what finally worked for me was this:

  • Update all the software on your computer via Phillips site
  • Open the Philips Device Manager
  • With the device connected and the 'connected to pc' screen showing on the GoGear, do a 'soft reset' by holding the Power Off + Volume Up buttons for a few seconds
  • As soon as the device restarts itself, hold the Volume Down button, the computer should now recognize the GoGear
  • Follow the onscreen directions to Repair the device
  • Thank the intarwebs.

I just downloaded VaioSoft recovery software, but it keeps saying no device...

I've tried this software with my A310. My camera is not detectable by the software either. Really, you need to use a card reader with the VaioSoft software to recover your pictures.
