The rain total and 9-day totals won't stop flashing on the main unit.

SOURCE: outside temp does not read new batterys in both

Double check the batteries to make sure they are installed correctly. If one of the batteries in the outdoor sending unit is in backwards, it will not send the outdoor data. On the indoor unit, there is typically one battery that is used for receiving the signal from the outdoor unit. If all of the batteries are in correctly but that one, you will see the display and the indoor temperature information, but the outdoor information will not be displayed.

You must move the remote sensor close to the base unit to reset it and it will work fine. After it shows the temp then you can move it back to its location. thanks for asking at Fixya.com.

Hello Peter. I have just purchased a tx6470 and have had exactly the same problems.
Just subsitute the up/down buttons for hr/rcc.
The 1 2 3 positions are the channels that the outside unit transmits on,you can check this by looking at the inside display where it shows ch in the outside display.
Regarding the city code just make a guess to a large city near you, the British cities are lumped together London is Lon Glasgow is Gla Edinburgh is Edh.
The day Do. I did a reset of the date and it cleared to the correct day
To get the outside details to reappear, remove and refit battries from inside unit and reset everything.
