Look at the "alternate" labels on the F1 through F12 keys on your keyboard. Is there one of them labelled "Turn WiFi On/Off" (or something like that) ? If so, hold down the 'FN' key (bottom left of keyboard) and press the key to turn the WiFi on.
Or, some laptops have an On/Off slider somewhere on the edges of the case?
Right click on the wifi icon on the taskbar by the time, then click Open Network and Sharing Center. On the left side of the window that pops up, click on "Change Adapter Settings". You should see your wireless adapter listed here, and can enable or disable it from here.
Maybe you don't have your wireless turned on. Look onboth sides and in front for the Wireless Switch and turn it on.
Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can togglethe wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN functionkey located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit willhave the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a towerwith the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will displayWireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless.
Press and Hold the FN function key then hit F2 while holding the FN Key down.

Why not? What is happening? Is the wireless turned on? Are you connected to the router? Do you know the password if the network is secured? Has the wifi worked before? There are too many variables that could cause the wifi to not work and you gave us no info as to what is happening.

If it is so, then just turn ON your wifi radio receiver by holding down the FN key on your keyboard and pressing a corresponding FUNCTION Key. Look for the function key (F1 to F12) with the wifi radio wave icon on it like ))) or ((( ))). Example, if F10 has that wifi icon, then hold down FN and press F10 to turn your wifi ON or OFF.
