Hooked up my new pioneer avh-1400dvd to my 07 cobalt with uaa/uaa1 antenna and scosche gm-3000 interface to retain factory sounds and the stereo power on, everything works but no sound out of the speakers. anyone else have this problem and did any one find a fix.

What vehicle. Did you buy the harness for tht plugs into your factory plug? If so, you need to connect the blue/white wire or the blue wire whichever you have. That turns on the fgactory amplifier.

What you have been told is correct, these proprietary systems are great for the manufacturer, but when they start to have issues (and they will) they leave you 2 options: pay through the nose to stay original or replace the amps with new ones....the upside of this is aftermarket amps are soooo mugh better than stock that it is lauhgable.

sounds like that is the problem i think that you need a special harness go to this website: metraonline.com and look up your vehicle you should be able to find the harness at bestbuy or a car stereo shop not sure how much it could be. May be expensive.....

the 2 left and right dont matter, it only matters when ur hooking up a 4 channel amp.
all u do is connect one of the channels to it but it would be best o buy a stereo ull have alot of engine nose and vibration on ur speakers and a thump every time u turn on ur car but itll sound ok for now ti
