Your machine has a hardware problem. Open the case and blow all the dust from it. Reseat all components you can. If that does not help, remove memory and try using one memory stick at a time. Change the memory slot. If it still will not boot you either have a video card, motherboard, or power supply problem.
It is a software problem if it will start but does not get any further thn the loading screen. you need to use the backup disks you made when you first got your machine. If your backup disk isnt having any effect please make sure that when it is starting up you press a button such as F12 or delete to get into the bios it will tell you what key you need during startup and change the first boot drive from the hard drive to the dvd/cd drive the save changes and exit. make sure your boot up disk is inserted and it will boot from disk you will be givn the option to format your hard drive only do this if you have everything you want baked up or if there is no space to save your new operating system without deleting it. thanks for reading.
