Question about Mpio Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

Hi, I can no longer browse through the files of my MPIO MG 100.

Hi,

I have an MPIO MG 100 MP3-player. My computer -and any other for that matter- always recognized it as a folder; whenever I double-clicked on it, it showed a list with suggestions of programs I might use to open it. Useless, of course. But by browsing folders I was always able to eliminate that problem and found access to my music files.

Today, after 23 months, the device finally decided to install the driver. OK. So, I let it happen and restarted my computer. My laptop immediately recognized my player as an external device. But now I can no longer browse through the files already stored on my player! My computer says there ARE no files on it! Neither can I format the device and I am also unable to find the driver, in order to delete it and get everything back the way it was!

What must I do?!

Please help a desperate 22-year old!

Have you tried downloading the specific drivers for that MP3?

Here is the site...choose your player then download and install...reboot and see if it solves your problem.

MPIO Utility can be used with MPIO player that supports USB Mass Storage.
With this, you can..
- Format and Recover MPIO player
- Upgrade firmware of MPIO flash-type player
- Building playlist of MPIO hdd-type player

* Supported OS : Windows 98 SE, ME, 2000, and XP
* MPIO Utility doesn't work with FL200 and FY300.
* If you are using the latest firmware, be sure to use the latest version of MPIO Utility.

Turn off the unit and connect it to the computer.
The computer should recognize the player.
Run a program called Mpio Utility (Can be found on the CD or Mpio.com)
Select format & Config
That should do the trick.

Or go to www.mympio.com
