My dvd wont eject. when i press open it blinks for a minute then goes to loading! then dvd will then play. I can hear it running but it will not eject the dvd.
unplug it for 10 - 15 mins... when you plug it back press the stop/eject quickly (player will automatic try to load disc)

the mechanism of your dvd are stucked up lubricate the moving parts and gears by using a small amoun of lubricating oil.to do it manually eject the loader by turning the gears by your hand..

Try prying open the door, pull back as far as it will go, then press eject button and see if it goes back on track, if not, there could be a faulty in the circuit on main board due to an overheated or faulty capacitor.

Keep saying loading than just ejects the dvd all types of them
It has problem in dvd loading mechanism which is not load completely and mean while system control IC waits for complete loading signal and than produce eject command.
You need to open top cover and check closely its DVD Loading Mechanism, might be loading belt slips.

FYI - This might damage the unit, but if you really need to get that DVD out then you can try this at your own risk!

Try unpluging the unit, then plug it back in and press the power button and a split second later press the eject button. This all needs to be done quickly otherwise the unit will try to load the disc.

Or

You can try letting the unit load the DVD. When the unit says "Please eject disc. Playback feature may not be avalible on this disc," press the eject button.

DVD is stuck
When a DVD won't eject, the most common problem is that the belt that operates the eject mechanism is slipping and not allowing it to eject the DVD. This can be fixed by either using a re-grip solution1.gif on the belt or having the belt replaced. With the cover off (be careful not to touch anything live with power) try to find the motor and belt which operates the DVD loading & eject mechanism. Try moving the belt pulley with your finger to give it a little help and see if it continues on with the operation. If it does, the belt is probably slipping. It takes more effort on the belt & pulley during an eject sequence rather than the a load sequence, so it may load fine but have trouble ejecting. Gravity and the weight of the DVD is why you may not have this problem during a load sequence.
Let me know what you find and we'll go from there.
