I just had a brand new 3 ton Luxaire central air condintioning system installed in an older home with new windows. The system blows 50 degree air and the refridgerant was pressure tested and passed. Plenty of refridgerant and pressure. ( According to the guywho installed it) The tennents indicate that the system is not maintaining duing te day. The property is located in New Orleans so its hot & humid. 80-85 deg. Any idea what the issue could be?
The unit may not be big enough one way to tell is to figure the square footage of the home and remember 1 ton of cooling will cover 600 sqft.
Really need a load calculatin and see if you have enough return air vents general rule is 5to600 square feet per ton and the same amount of return vents as supply vents
