I have Windows 7 RC (patches etc. up to date) with

You could try this link, but with all Beta software nothing is guaranteed until the approved verisons are released.

Not put down your video card though x1650 is not a "screamer" in todays standards, I'm running a 3870OC myself because it was cheaper than to buy the latest and greatest. I believe you are limited by your motherboard only having AGP? Take a look at this link:

You would be able to retain the already installed drivers. It all depends on your budget. On another note try lowering your colors and changing the monitors frequency. I hope this helps.

Display issue can card's cmos (if any), be reset?

There is no bios on the AGP card. Uninstall the PowerColor driver software including any other software the CD may have installed. Than open this link;
http://www.pctuneuptips.com/recommends/clean/?gclid=CL2RiIrTmpICFSFMGgodODIPzg
Download RegCure & install. Let RegCure clean your system.
Shut down the system & install your AGP x1550 card. Re-install the driver software. Try playing the game with default settings. Your system & AGP card has more than enough power to play the game. If the game messes up or your system freezes send it back to PowerColor. Its not your system it has to be the card.

Cheers

Can i run ati radeon HD3650 512mb on asus k8N motherboard

firstly you need to make sure *********** board has a PCIe slot or a AGP... this is where your ATI HD3650 will go...see the graphic 512mb has nothing to with your main system RAM which is also 512mb.. so they wont be any problems as such and both will work together without any problems... but i suggest you to add another 512mb to your system RAM.. the difference between DDR and DDR2 is that... DDR2 is a bit newer and is faster in terms of memory read/write/access... do let me know if u have any futher problems....

Is visiontek a radeon hd 2400 pro agp 8 compatible w/ p4s800- mx?

ATI has recently written some better drivers for the 2400 Pro AGP cards,... Make sure the setting in the BIOS for the motherboard is set to the AGP or PCI for primary video. For AGP, make sure that you have the power from the power supply connected to the video card. Make sure that your motherboard does support 8X AGP video cards. If you are not sure, please check with motherboard manufacturer for compatibility.

Graphics cards

Hi noxiney, you're MSI motherboard does have 1 opened AGP 8x4x slot. You can install & run the ATI Radeon X1650 PRO AGP. You can not run PCI-Express because there are no PCI-E slots on the board. There are PCI (White in color) on the board but the AGP slot is much faster than the PCI (White in color slots). The manual states the AGP card can only support 1.5volt video cards & not 3.3volt AGP cards. (Keep this in mind when looking for an AGP card).
Below is a link to a bunch of AGP 8x4x video cards. One or two include DDR2 memory. Carefull where you buy. Check the warranty. (Longer is better). The first one on the list would be compatible. Its not DDR2 but it does have 512MB of memory.

This card is 1.5v compatable.
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3101648&CatId=318
& this is compatable.
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1642902&CatId=318
Just remember, if the card can run both 8x & 4x it should support the 1.5volt needed to function on the MB.

Enjoy!
