Question about HP OfficeJet 7310 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

I have a large Adobe file that won't print

I had legal docs sent to me in an Adobe file, Legal size pages: 84 pgs. I can not get it to print, it will only print the last two inches of each page. I was able to print a single page doc that someone had sent me just fine which was legal size from Adobe and it printed fine. I have made all the changes to 8.5x14 in the printer set up, and when I go to print I apply 8.5x14 before hitting ok. I am able to print legal size in Microsoft Word. 6.13MB is the file size I am trying to print. I found the specs about the hP 7310: Memory Installed RAM16 MB, Max Memory96 MB. Do you have any solutions??  HELP!!!

I should have mentioned, I finally emailed the file to Kinkos and they printed it out fine.

oops, I also had an older version of Adobe Reader when it would not print I upgraded to Adobe Reader 8.0 which made no difference.

My printer won't print letter automatically. It's stuck on printing only legal. If I pull legal tray out it will print letter. But I need it to adjust with alternating print jobs.

Printer wont stop paper, if any page length mismatch,Select page length as any size, as well as while shooting the print command select page length as legal & try it. I feel that teflon not rotating properly, result paper jamming at bottom end. If any paper length faulty printer detects the length give message of mis match..Pl check carefully...

Hello there

I have many Manuals but I not have one for this printer, but for all printer when you go to print out your docs on the Pc with word or Microsoft-Word or other, go to the top left hand side with your mouse to File click on file a box will open and you will see in this box it will say ( Save and Save As… and so on keep looking and you will see in this same box it will say Page settings or Print setting click on this with your mouse and you see all from there on one of the Tabs where you can change the settings.

I have a brother hl-5250dn with an extra tray for legal size paper. I have a problem printing loan documents sent via swiftview or elynx. I can only print on letter pages or legal pages but not both and...

Sounds like your secratery's printer is set to ignore paper mismatch errors. It depends on the setting you have in your driver. Can you set your driver on your printer to ignore paper mismatch errors. If not when your printer errors, just try hitting the go button and it should print the document any way.

How do you print on legal paper from memory?

You have sent a fax? Or you have received a fax.
If you have sent it, it's gone and can't be printed.
If you have received it, then you obviously have to put legal paper in the tray, and program the paper size in your system settings to tell the machine it is Legal paper in the tray. However, once again, if it has already printed the fax (likely on 2 pages) then it's gone from memory and can't be re-printed.

Printing duplex and legal size.

I don't have legal size paper to test this with so it's a theoretical point but it looks like the printer will not do duplex in anything other than:
  • A4
  • Letter
  • B5 (JIS)
  • Executive
You can always print in duplex manually which is always an option regardless of paper size.

Hope that helps.
