I have a zebra p120i card printer now when printing id cards for my company theres always a vertical yellow line on them. Can someone help please

My zebra p120i wont print, it just says error in print command.

Printer and Drivers(W XP), Printers(W Vista or higher version) Go to the driver by right clicking and printer preferences, then go to the tools settings, you will see the possibility to print a Test Card...Print it. If nothing happens and you are sure you have the supplies, Connection and power, it means you should check on the cable.

The Zebra P110i printer is an Edge-To-Edge card printer, which means it will print on the card closest to the edge as possible, however there will still be a slight line. Although a 2mm line is too big, should be no more than 1mm, there will still always be a line.

There are some advanced EC (end card) settings that could be adjusted but if the print goes too close to the edge, the ribbon will get cut.

My zebra id card printer p120i does not print very sharp

zebra p120i TROUBLESHOOTING LINK

Printing shows blurry printed image.
Possible Cause:
•Ribbon cartridge may not be correctly positioned.
Solution:
•Check that the ribbon is properly rolled onto the ribbon cores of the cartridge, with no wrinkles.
•Replace ribbon cartridge, making sure it locks in place, and print again.
Possible Cause:
•Ribbon may not be synchronized on the correct color panel position.
Solution:
•Open lid, then close lid to synchronize ribbon.
Possible Cause:
•Cards may not meet specifications.
Solution:
•Use a different supply of cards.
Possible Cause:
•Dust or embedded contamination inside the printer and/or dirty Cleaning Roller.
Solution:
•Clean the Print Head.
•Replace Cleaning Roller

I'm printing a double sided card. The back side comes out fine (white with black letters). The front side needs to be completey black with red letters. It keeps coming out blurry. How do I fix that?

It may be that the ribbon is mispositioned. There are quite a few points in the trouble shooting section of the owners manual. These start on page 53. Here is the link to the page at the zebra company site that you can download the manual from.

Zebra P110 ID card printer card jam on yellow ribbon.

In the driver go to the tools section. In the command to send to the printer box type !SA then choose send the will calibrate all your sensors. As always make sure your clean the printer.
