In some mobiles you will get only in small duration, If you are going to Nokia Nseries types you can set MP3 tones as message tones. So you can hear that for longer duration......so you just set mp3 tones for that......Thank you....
Let me know trhe feedback....
halo i think you have to overite the message tone you wanted to have on the exixting ones.. i meant on the default tones.,,by that yu can use an mp3 file in yur message tone..
I contacted LG about the same thing. The only message tones are the 4 that are on the phone. This phone cannot use mp3's as message tones ot alarm tones.
Sadly this phone does not support this option I'm afraid it only supports downloaded ring tones, this i have been told by Sony, sadly the salesperson told me i could chose my own message tones on this phone, she lied.
SETTINGS>>PROFILE SETTINGS>>SELECT YOUR DESIRED PROFILE>>MESSAGE SETTINGS(RIGHT POINT OF YOUR SCROLLING BUTTON>>MESSAGE ALERT TONES>>CHANGE>>USE MY ALERT TONE>> EXPLORE>>> SELECT AND SAVE>>> YOUR PROBLEM IS SOLVED!!!!!!!!
Hi Jane, To put mp3 files as message tone you have to download a .mid file and put it in with all of your other mp3 files. once you have done that go into settings and go to the message tone settings. press use my effective alert tone or what ever it says and click play on the .mid file the just go across and find the mp3 you want but dont go out of the play mode until you select the mp3 you want. im glad i could help.
"My Effect Tones" can only be MMF files. Ringtones can be WAV, MMF, MP3, etc... as long as the file is under 300kb I think. You need to convert your ring tones to MMF to use them as "Text Tones"
