Where is the port for charging a Compaq agency series pe2030?

If it's a Presaio 1200 series as you say in the topic title, then you're in bad luck.

That's a really old laptop and does NOT come with usb support.

this is a regular problem with compaq presario cq?? series . There won't be any problem with the laptop. you will only have to change the adaptor.

Have you try to use another charger to charge it to see if it will charge, because it could be that your charger is bad, if you have and it did not charge, no problem.

It means the charging port of your phone is bad that is why your phone is not charging.

All you need to do is to change the charging port of your phone, changing the charging port of your phone will make your phone charge because the one there at the moment is bad.

nothing is wrong with ypur laptopmotherboard. i suggest you to use original charger. doublicate charger are not good for laptops .

You might be able to replace the jack easily enough. I am not sure what model you have, but some Compaq laptops have modular jacks, meaning they can be replaced instead of having to be repaired or having to replace the entire motherboard. I would recommend you do this or have someone qualified to do this beucase if you leave it as-is then you might burn something out on your Motherboard.

Your power jack on the laptop is probably what when bad. you can take it apart and try to install an new one or you can power the laptop through the side docking port. I wired up a custom connector to use with the ac adapter to make it connect to the to wide metal slots in the docking port.
