Try pressing the on/off button to turn it off. I had a same problem. I depressed the on/off button for ~6 second or so and the device turned off. When I turned on again, the LeapReader no longer had a white light and was recognized by my computer.

Is the computer plugged in to a known good power source with a known good power cord? Also, make sure the power is fully seated on both ends. When you press the power button are you getting any indicator lights? The power button itself has an LED that will be either solid green, blinking green, solid amber, blinking amber, or off. Do you hear any beeps?
Sorry to say, but it is dead. I have one just like it. If it was dropped or something you could open it up to see if anything is loose, but more than likely you will not find anything.
It sounds like the Hard Drive has failed. You an get a new drive for $30 from Amazon or BestBuy. Replace the hard drive and install an Operating system of choice. The Old drive may not be accessible, thus be prepared to accept the loss of data as all may be lost.
the blue/white wire is to turn an amplifier on. If you have no amp, don't worry about it, Just make sure you cap it off so it won't touch anything as it is hot when the deck is on. The yellow wire is constant power and has to have power going to it even with the key off as it controls the memory of the radio (clock and radio presets).
Which means what? You have a solid red light on the line or you don't have the line at all. A TDA system rings by a process called ICD groups. You can have a phone in an ICD (600 by default) and tell it the number of rings to delay, not ring, or immediate ring, but that means that the line button will flash as the call is coming in. If you don't assign it to a group, it's really stupid and won't do anything but light solid red.

The WiFi light on the printer will momentarily turn off. When it lights up solid orange, launch the Lexmark Wireless Setup Utility on your computer by inserting your installation cd or executing the Lexmark X6570 driver. Follow the instructions on your computer screen.
