Change chinese english

1. Make sure you know your hardware version!
2. Download firmware update in English from TP Link website and unzip.
3. Connect computer to router with Ethernet cable as per manual and in your web browser window enter http://tplinklogin.net then enter user name and password (admin,admin) to access the router Configuration Utility.
4. From the English manual note the location in the configuration utility menus of the firmware upgrade utility. I.E. Go "system tools" (last entry in menu) then "firmware upgrade" (3rd item down). I know it's written in Chinese but you can count right?
5. Select your unzipped file location in the window and press the button beneath.

you have downloaded chinese version of google chrome download english english version of google version , be sure to select language before downloading select english langugae

1. you cannot change the firmware to a router unless there is a firmware update from the manufacturer. You can go to the manufacturers site and download the firmware update > but for language change is in the browser that is Internet Explorer or Firefox etc.
2. for Internet Explorer go to "Tools" then Internet Options" then click the "General tab" look for the button that says "Language" locate the add button then add the English from the list and click apply this should change the language from Chinese to English when you view the router page using 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 depending on the manufacturers settings.
the same should be in all browser for language changes.Check the "helps" for more information > usually a "?" to view the content or the word "help".

Click the third tab in the horizontal, from left to right, by DIR-616 then click the third option in the vertical, under DIR-616. Now, click the button on the bottom of the page. That should clear the language pack and make the interface be displayed in english. I hope I made myself clear, I spent almost an hour trying to figure out what to do to display this interface in english, google translator helped me a lot. Good luck.

when registering on the website was the language in Chinese, if it was how was it possible to register, if not,look around the website especially around the top area you will see "English" written on it ,if you click on it it will change the writings to English language then click login then on forgot password

I suggest you contact Belkin customer service and explain your problem. They will either walk you through the steps required to fix it, or (assuming your router is new and under warranty) replace your router with one that works properly.
