It appears your timer/main controller/CCU has failed in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

My machine show a 01 and a flashing key I try to do hold a button for 5 sec to deactivate but time tab it's not reacting with at is the prob

Your washer is in the "child lock" mode, hence it won't allow any program. Press the "menu" button until you see "CHILD LOCK :ON" appear in the display. If nothing is pressed within 10 seconds.following this the menu will close and it will default to program in the display. Once you see that in the display, press the "select" button until "CHILD LOCK :OFF" appears in the display. Finally by pressing the start/pause button the key symbol should disappear - confirming you have successfully exited the child lock program.

Hi, my front loader washing machine (Bosch Logixx 8 sensitive) has child lock written on the screen and will not start the load. ive tried switching it on and off again but it does nothing. the door is...

Hello, welcome to FixYa.

The Key symbol means the lock has been activated some how.

On most bosch of your class this is how you work it on & off.

Here`s how to deactivate it...

1) Press the "menu" button until you see "CHILD LOCK :ON" appear in the display. ( if nothing is pressed within 10 sec.following this the menu will close and it will default to program in the display )

2) Once you see what I just mentioned in the display press the "select" button until "CHILD LOCK :OFF" appears in the display.

3) Finally by pressing the "start/pause" button the key symbol should disappear confirming you have successfully exited the child lock program.

Let me know if this was helpful to you or not, if so please take a second and rate it accordingly.

Thank you for visiting "fixya" for your washer solution inquiry.

good luck going forward.

What causes "Error 4" to

Hi, googled this problem myself and found this page. Doesn't help much though. Will still have to get someone out to look at it.

Good luck, we'll need it now our warranties are useless.

KFL1600 - stops with Error 7.

If you unplug the machine when it stalls, that should reset the controller to allow release of the door. Does the pump run when it is supposed to? If ok, check the drain coupling at the bottom of the outer tub. If you pull the drain hose loose at the tub, water should run out (if water is in it). If not, there may be a stray sock or similar that is blocking the drain opening. Hopefully, there may be an access plate nearby that allows cleaning of the port. Otherwise, the machine will need to be torn down completely to access the port. (BIG job!) If you lay the drain hose down at floor level, an open drain system will allow gravity draining of the machine which would point to a defective or inoperative pump.

Can you tell us what error 6 is as displayed on Kleenmaid KFL1600 front loading washing machine. We have the manual and it is not listed. Many thanks

Hi I've got a KFL1600 with error 6 too - I fixed this once by cleaning the filter, but now it's come up again and the filter is clean. Not sure if it's related but the door has stopped unlocking too and we have to open it by pulling the little tag in the filter door. Very reticent to get it repaired as everyone says that these machines are a nightmare and costly.

Boot loader

Try pressing the power button. This should switch the phone off. Then start up as normal by pressing and holding the power button.
