check with mains power if that works then battery stuffed

AMOLED screen is the short for Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting diode.

It is highly superior to the ordinary TFT display. It is expensive too.

Nokia 5800 doesnt have it.
N82, N86 models have it.

The picture quality is amazing.
Life like pictures.

the connector between the LCD and internal parts of the camcorder is called RIBBON. based on what you said, you need to call Samsung hotline for repair of your camcorder

sc-d353 got wet slightly the camera part is working but good tapes display eject sign and in the middle of the screen displays the eject symbol and ...r please help

the part is 40.. let me no if u need the part number. it is from turning the lcd around.. samsung did not engineer this properly

I have the same problem and it goes away when i completely flip the display. It looks like the inside ribbon cable need to be replaced.

i got da same problem 2! i opened my cam just 2 c what's in it! i saw that the wire going into the lcd ripped in 2 pieces! it's from all da playing around with the cam bcause i used it like crazy! basically if that's ur problem u just need 2 get that wire and plug it in! now the main question is (where do u get that wire from!???) im tryin 2 find that out myself i guess ill go n c a electrician guy or sumtin! peace out

Did you try going to the menu and selecting auto? I have found that I need to remove the battery prior to doing any additional options. I think this camera is good but tricky.

I HAVE A SAMSUNG MINI DV DIGITAL CAMCORDER MODEL SC-D353 NTSC.

THE LCD SCREEN IS NOT DISPLAYING. ONLY A WHITE SCREEN WITH VERTICAL STRIPES.

NO PICTURE DISPLAY IN 'CAMERA' MODE OR 'PLAYER' MODE. BUT THE VIEW FINDER IS WORKING.

DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

HAS LCD SCREEN GONE BAD. IF SO WHO DO I CONTACT. I LIVE IN SILVER SPRING MARYLAND USA
