Re: TOO BIG TO GET INTO MY FRONT DOOR
Take off rear cardboard back and then take off back cover- BE CAREFUL--the mirror is inside! Then move into house. Clean out before reassembly--Dust RGB lens caps with soft cloth, Knock down any spider webs and clean mirror with glass cleaner & paper towels.........T.

In a hotel you say? I would first call the front desk and ask them for it may be blocked by them and you need to pay for it extra to view it through their system... Hope this takes care of it for you, Jesus loves you, John 3:16-17 (KJV)
Most of the time I adjust the doors all the way to the front, supporting the door with a hang strap or a jack with a protector on it. As you first close the door be carefull as the front fenders can be back a bit anf the door and the fender might hit. Most big builds the doors are fitted with the front fenders off and them after the doors aree fitted. ( putting paper in the weather stip and setting the drag of the paper and them the fenders are fitted to match the doors them the hood is fitted to match the fenders, some times the fenders need adjusted some to fit the hood squarely.)

Hello, if the doors aren't closing right you can loosen the bolt that the doors latch onto, it is a torx, then move it up or down so that it closes well. Otherwise you can bend the door pins slightly. What can happen is that the body shifts with the removal of the hard top or if someone unbolted the roll cage to put down the front wind screen. Get the doors going good by adjusting the bolt that the door jam latches onto to keep the door closed. Then tighten everything good. It is common that they don't close right. Also, while you're at it, pull up the carpet where the seatbelts are in front and look for rust on the floor. YJ's are know for the seat belt ripping out of a rusted floor and the passengers going through the windshield. But I still love jeeps. Cheers bro.
hi, their is no reason why it wouldnt fit but it would take alot of work to make it fit you might have to cut pieces out of the golf parts to make them smaller or bigger to fit. Also you would need to be able to weld plastic parts back together and also alot of metal work making brakets etc it would need alot of filling and sanding.
It would be a big job you would have to move mounting brackets etc but anything is possible with time and money. You could always get the parts you want and just see what works involved sometimes you can get away with out much work at all but others could mean lots of cutting and re-fitting depends how much time and expertise you have got its not something a novice would take on as it is a big job.
Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
