I CANT GET THE SOUND TO WORK THROUGH MY MONITOR

This is an adjustment made in the control panel under I believe Display. From there you will have an option for Screen Saver. It should all be in there.

uhh it obiously cant take that resolution maby it can try install a new driver if that does work sorry it can take that high of a resolution

Try checking your Cable connections to the Monitor to the Computer and from the Monitor to the wall outlet.The crackling sound maybe normal.Most Monitors make that sound.

you cant you will have to buy a new screen or buy some gel for it that might work

plug the speaker cord into the LIME GREEN port on your computer.

Click on the speaker icon at thee bottom of the display to make sure you are not MUTED.

1. cheak the filament path diode,capacitor.

2. there is dry points in power section.

3. replaced 3842 IC supply capacitor 47/100v.

4. LOT sarounds. if in case near to lot one resistor burnt (12k ohm ) change the lot & capacitors,resistor

Please right click on My computer->properties- hardware-device manager-- check if your sound device is working fine. PLease let us know if we continue further

The sound for this monitor is connected with the usb cable that is attached to the monitor cable. Replace the usb cable from the pc to the monitor.

If you are technically able you can open the monitor and remove the key pcb( switch off remove power cable).Use a switch cleaning solution like wd40 to clean each switch (spray and operate a no. of times).This might solve your problem.Regarding where you can get it,Sorry I am in India and don't know where you might get it in your part of the world.

Please clarify the term "hard drive usb cable"  Ipods have a special connection on the bottom for sync and charge, and it may not fit another mp3 player.
