Try a head cleaner first and if that doesnt work then look around for a new cd player or use the computer as if its what i think it is then its not reading correctly and it not really repairable ,Well financialy viable as i think the memory reading of the circuitry is questionable.

A cd given to practise listening lessons when played normall runs well. when rewound or when trying to go to position where we want to report it goes to begining. when pressed PREVIOUS OR NEXT IT DOESNT...

You need to ensure that your using a unit that has rewind capabilities, as many units only have a skip back or skip foward funcyion. I hope this helps. Good luck.

My cd/dvd burner doesnt have sound and when u burn a cd it skips when u play the cd

you can try a lens cleaner first. or the device will need replacement soon.

CD changer skips on bumps

There are two ways either the 90* or the 180*. If your having problems like skipping I'd suggest finding a place at the center of the car where there is less shock for the unit, like under your seat. I know changers have this 6 seconds or more memory so in case it skips, the first 6 sec ahead of the song is stored and play it to avoid the skip.

MY Sony CDX-R3000 will only play CD's. It will not allow me to adjust volume, skip songs, or play the radio

Try and reset it . disconnect battery under the hood for like 5 min and see what happens ..I had that radio and sometimes its just tempermental . take cd out and try it ? Sre any buttons stuck ? If that doesnt work then hopefully u like your cds at the volume they are at . Good luck

My Windows Media Player skips constantly on music.

Windows media player does not skip. It plays what it can read. If you are using a CD then try cleaning it. Otherwise tell us what type of file you are trying to play.

I have a HP 1600n pc sometimes when I insert a dvd or cd it reconizes the disk put when I click on play it will not play or sometimes it will play but skips any help

u have to buy a cd/dvs lens cleaner with brushes installed on the surface ur drive lens is dirty it will help in cleaning and ur problems i hope will be gone

thereis another way of cleaning but u have to take out the cover and dismantle the drive i will guide u later if cd cleaning doesnt help but i am sure it will

have you tried a laser cleaner to free the lens of dust, this might be one cause or the laser may be worn out .

sharp radio shuts down after 15 min. dh959 I have done so far look inside for any lose wire's what best buy said to do, I have taken the side's off to clean with dust air, I had talk to sharp company and said to set back to original factory did that three time's still noting works. and i will not take it into a shop is what the sharp company said to do. got to be and easy fix help please
