From what i know, the actual registration procedure depends on the type of base you are connecting it to. you should activate manual registration of the handset on both the handset and base station.
If still not clear, post back with your base station model indicated for further help.

As soon as you lift it from the base station, it has already accepted the call. So before lifting it, press the button with the red phone.

Your handset doesn't yet 'belong" to a base so look in the manual and see how you do it. Each brand is different. You will need to enter a code which is typically 0000 or 1234

Incoming voice is very low.battery is in fully charged condition.Volume is also set at max. WE are putting the call under speaker phone and continuing the call.

If you have ADSL line also connected to the same phone then it is because of that...
To solve the problem simply buy one vioce filter and install it in your phone line it should cost you around 2$.

Batteries don't hold charge

you will need a new battery, however, check your options, it is probably cheaper to purchase a new phone than a new battery for your old phone

First of all you have to change the Dialing mode, DTMF or Pulse, according PABX type, ask to technicians!
Second step is to set up the Flash Time from 80 to 800 ms, again in dependency of your PABX Operating Instructions. Cheers and good Luck.
