i never trust one, i use the nand IR pyro gun for 15 bucks.
the gun can in fact tell you if any RAD tubes are clogged

a bad rad tube will read hot on the feed end and about 50 degrees
less on the other end, if not the tube is clogged. easy huh,

are the air paths from the grill to the back side of RAD
clean not all parked in dirt bugs and what not?
if the fan cant suck, the RAD will overheat. for sures.

On the comfort zone CZ7007, the #1 rocker switch is for 600 watts, the #2 rocker switch is for 900 watts. If you flip 1 and 2 both to on you will get 1500 watts. Which is 600 and 900 added together. There is no down position, but only on and off.

Air pocket need the thermostat housing.

Air is not a good conductor of heat.

Park you car on a hill and let the air pocket to work itself out to the cooling system.

A shop will charge $65+ to purge the air out.

first thing get sombody to check all fluids in your car. if the red light comes on only with the air conditioning on then it seems to me insuffient cooling. i say this because your aircondiioning condensor fancy name for rad is in front of your actual engine rad and some times built in to the engine rad itself. have to tried stopoing at a red light with the airconditioning off?? does it still do what you say it does??
i really cant see the problem being the altenator because it only powers your blower motor and anythign electrical. you air conditioning is powered by a belt attached to the motor. hope this helps you.

Wedge, chances are your radiator might be clogged. Rads are designed to provide cooling even if a certain capacity is not flowing (10% or so). Beyond that, you will start to experience higher engine temperatures. You will usually start to see it when your vehicle is under load (AC is on, towing, steep inclines). By turning on the heat, you introduce your heater core into the cooling equation, therefore increasing the capacity of your cooling system enough to make up for the loss in your radiator. If your cooling system is ever low, rust develops in your block which is cleaned away by DEX Cool. However, this rust turns into a red mud which often ends up in the radiator (happens often in chevy pickups with the 5.7L). You have a few possible options if this is your problem.
1. Flush your cooling system. Not just the rad, the entire system. Make sure you get the dirty coolant out of the block.
2. This is rarely done anymore, but you can have you radiator rodded out. This involves a radiator shop taking you radiator out, removing one of the tanks, and pushing a long rod through each tube to remove any contaminates. It is not done much anymore as a new rad is often about the same cost.
3. Replace the rad.
Any route you take, make sure the ENTIRE system is flushed properly or you run the risk of recontamination your entire system. Hope this helped.

I have a Bionaire tower air filter model BAP1700 that I bought from Costco. The filter check LED came on recently after 5 months of use. After cleaning the Permatech filters, I tried every remedy on this website including following the instructions that say push power button for 2 secs. Nothing worked. Then I noticed a tiny hole on the control panel in front of clean filter LED; I pushed a paper clip pin into that hole, felt a click, held it down and 2 secs later, LED went out. Success!

HI There is a product recall for this particular model of heater, you can search the internet for details on how to get the item collected by Bionair and get a full refund, these are a fire risk.
