Yamaha htr 5740 reciever i turn it on and it sounds like it powers up cause it clicks on but no display in the front panel

ā€œit sounds like it powers up cause it clicks on but no display in the front panelā€ NO,it does not sound like power up due to "no display in the front panel" The relay controlling AC line power connected to LARGE POWER TRANSFORMER DOES NOT switch ON with the exception of voltage for FL tube(front panel) is down.

Check standby board (AC inlet board) that is its reset signal and AC_PWR_DET are of paramount important. REMEMBER TO CHECK THOSE NON POLAR CBB Capacitors (their capacitances.)4bae7964-7459-4ded-b909-319dfd2698e3.jpg

HP pavilion laptop ZV6203CL will not charge the battery anymore, even a new battery, and will not use the battery power, will only power up when plugged AC. Is this a problem in the board or the AC DC...

This must be due to AC DC Power Jack. Test your Laptop with a new one. It can also be the Power Configurations in he Windows Control Panel. Do check those settings also.

Intel dg31pr mother board why dont show display?

First check your num lock led if it on and off when you press num lock key then your cpu is ok.
Then therer is issue with monitor to cpu loose connection
or
Screen resolution problem.
For that when you power up press F8 key then enter in enable vga mode.then go to control panel and dispaly then settings then change screeen resolution to 1024*768 then apply and ok.
Aslo reconnect connection from monitor to cpu vga port.
Also check in bios some times your harddisk is not detected proeprly.
If problem still remains open cpu cabinet and reconnect data cable and power cable to harddisk.
Refix RAM memory.
Pull cmos cell for 15 minutes then check.
Thanks for using fixya.

Ibook g4 rebuild

Hi there.
Make sure you have the voltage and amperage right first before you try and power up the motherboard.
Most laptop motherboards run on 15, 19 or 20 volts and take a different amperage like 3.42A for example.
The power in will be displayed underneath the ibook so take a look there.
Don't plug a 24 volt power supply into it unless it specifies that because you could damage the board.

Good luck with project

What causes the pulse control on the ac circuit board to fail?

First check your breakers they are seprerate than the indoor they are in the distibution panel and or next to the out door unit. If still no...then check the control wiring (two or more wires in a cable) going to the outdoor unit the supply the voltage to the contactor which is the swich inside the control panel it can be manually pressed in to checked mechanically with the power off, or electically with the power on. It does have high enough to hurt you, so unless you are comfortable with it you may need a tech.

Acer aspire 5050 can't turn it on

If you dont see any green lights and you dont hear any boot up sounds ( hd, fans, etc) try to take out battery and just plug in the AC adapter to a known good power outlet. Make sure your power plug is good too. If you hear boot-up sounds, see green lights but no display then toggle on the "fn" key and or try on an external monitor.

No lights, flashing white screen when loading

You need a new battery, or if your good with a magnifier and soldering iron just remove the two top screws and remove the sides to get access to the battery.remove battery and slice the plastic shrink wrap on the battery then unsolder one end of the little circuit board, put a small drop of rosin flux on all the ends of the components on the underside of the board and rework the connections so they are nice and shiny. re-solder the tab you un-soldered in step one and replace the shrink wrap apply a piece of clear scotch tape to hold it in place and re- install the battery and assemble the case. it should work fine now.

Window AC unit

See if your motor is okay 1st. Find your wires feeding your Fan motor. (This means the 2 power wires L1 & L2 if 220v or L1 & N if 115V) Carefully put the power to these 2 wires and see if you hear the motor hum or start. If it hums the run capacitor could be bad.Try spinning the motor with the power applied. If it starts most likely the run capacitor is out. If it starts without you helping it the control board or switch is most likely out.

It is possible the unit has a energy saving setting. If it gets locked into this the fan may not run.
If the unit has electronic controls and an electronic display read out, the board is the most likely suspect. Unplug it and see if it resets.
If not then the board is probably out with a stuck relay or stuck program. New board time. Or replace the unit.

If it has a rotary or push button type control then either of these 2 switches are suspect.
