This could be caused by multiple things. The first problem that comes to mind is a bad power supply in my experience. The second problem that comes to mind is possibly a bad t-con or backlight inverter board. Could you tell me, when the TV powers back off can you see a picture in on the screen if you shine a flashlight up to the display?
If it powers ON, the power supply board will not have any problem. The problem must be to any other boards, like main, inverter, audio etc:. It cannot be predicted which one will be, without checking it well. Contact any service technician.
if you know some basic electronics repair just proceed to the power supply board the look for any bulging electrolytic capacitor ,sometimes not bulged but if test it with capacitance checker it was leak and need replacement.
ok well there is somwhere to start i would see if you can get it to take a charge ok and if it does than try to start it without the ac power on and see what it does if it wont take a charge your battery may be bad or your charging circuit may not be connected correctly ok lrt me know best regards mike
