I need to solder a new 1/4" jack on my ultrasone HFI-700s. The wire colors are black, red, and blue. Which is the ground wire? Which is right, and which is left?

Hi,

Black is ground

Red is right channel

Blue is left channel

The wires are probably enamelled so scrape the ends a little with a scalpel before you solder to get a good connection.

I have an SPL Z1X 3000D Mono (3000W) amp that I just got so I could maximize my Sub's output. But My Kenwood 800W amp has better sound quality and is much louder. I don't know why

because a kenwood amp is true power and has better pertection built in it.the spl is a cheaper brand of equipment.just because it says 3000 whats doesnt mean it is,the spl is about 150 - 200 brand new,that should tell you why

Kole 3000d 2 blown caps replaced them protection light is on low popping sound on output of spks can someone help

goodday maybe the power output ic is defective causing the caps blown. just replace it.

This amp is similar to many of the planet audio class D amplifiers. These amplifiers have quite a few problems. If the amplifier has failed, it needs to be serviced by someone who is familiar with the amplifier.

Do not repeatedly replace the fuses. It will lead to more damage and a more expensive repair.

How do I remove the 80 amp fuse from my 1000 w Hifonics amp? I'm trying to trouble shoot my system and everything is hooked up correctly and has a good ground. I even put my old stereo back in my car thinking my new one was bad. Checked every fuse, BUT I can not seem to remove the fuse from the actual amp to check it. Am I just missing something? There's no clip no button and it doesn't appear it unscrews where the two two metal spurs are.
