SAMSUNGGALAXY SIII MY PHONE IS NOT RECOGNIZING MY SIM CARD

I have a brand new CZ long. The phone is giving me an insert SIM card message but the sim is already inside. Please help me register this phone or get it to where it’s recognizing the SIM card. Thank you

Unlock through carrier:

-Contact your network provider and request unlock code
-Insert new sim card
-Turn on
-Enter unlock code Unlock using a paid website

-Retrieve S3's IMEI number by calling *#06#
-Find a paid unlock service
-Order a code
-Wait for new code to arrive
-Insert new sim card Manually unlocking phone

-Check phone is locked
-Update phone
-Make sure it is a GSM phone
-Open dialler call *#197328640#
-Tap [1] UMTS
-Tap [1] DEBUG SCREEN
-Tap [8] PHONE CONTROL
-Tap [6] NETWORK LOCK
-Tap [3] PERSON SHA256 OFF
-Press menu and back
-Tap 94] NW LOCK NV DATA INITIALLIZ
-Reboot your phone

You can try doing a system reset. Shut off the phone. Remove the battery, & the SIM card. Press any buttons on it around 5 times to discharge any remaining voltage in the phone. Allow the phone to sit for 5-10 minutes to allow any traces of power left to drain. Place the card & the battery back in, & turn on the phone. If the phone is undamaged, it will restart & re-initiate itself without losing any of your files.

Check whether your Sim is placed properly in the slot. Try to reinsert the Sim. still if you face the same problem then your phone might be locked to particular Network. I had the same problem with my NEW Huawei Ascend. My solution was that I had to trade it for another new one. I wouldn't have even known about it since it was my first experience with a smart phone. Depending on how jammed it is and how much you care about salvaging the card, have you tried pulling it out with very fine needle-nose pliers?

You may want to secure your phone and use both hands with fine pointed tools to remove the card.

If this appears to be too much trouble or you cannot get it removed, you may need to have it serviced.

Sounds like dust on the sim card or phone needs to reboot. Switch phone off, then remove battery and sim card. Wait half an hour - have a cup of coffee :) Make sure sim is clean and refit. Refit battery and power up. Hopefully that will fix it.

Hi, have you tried using different Sim Card to check if the issue is related to Sim Card.? These issues happen due to Sim Card chip has damaged inside. If the same error displayed even after using working Sim Card, try to insert properly or the Phone's Sim Card Slot pins have not conducting properly to the Sim Card, in this case Service might be required to the Cellphone.

Either you do not have a SIM card installed in the phone or the phone is not recognizing your SIM card.

You need to try another SIM card in the phone. If the phone does not recognize the second SIM card either, then you need to return the phone for another one. The SIM card reader in the phone is defective.

If you have a friend with the same carrier as yours, try putting the SIM into their phone to see if it works. If it doesn't work, your SIM card has had it. If it does work. You may need to hard reset your phone.
