Got necht 150 quad no fuel getting to engine but carb working ok

SOURCE: merc 190e fuel injection problem

If the fuel gets to the distributor but no fuel comes out of the distributor if the airflow disk pushed into the air/fuel mixure body, i suggest you check the electro-hydralic-actuator
Its the black box (picture thanks to elproboscis from ebay america) as it controles the flow to the pluger body inside the centre of the distributor and goes from the plunger direct to the 4 outlines.

SOURCE: 1997 cb500 won't start

finally sorted when I replaced both plugs. I've never come across one failing instantly before in 30 years of motorcycling (maybe that's because I ride old bm's!)

SOURCE: engine will not start,carbs cleaned, but will not fire, no petrol

Check the carb diaphrams for any tears/pinholes? (They are on the top of the carbs) Have you reconnected the breather from the tank? Is fuel getting past fuel tap? Sometimes the vent in the fuel cap can get blocked with crud and create a vacuum which stops fuel flowing.

If you get a shock from the HT lead then you do have spark!!

Connect spark plug with it removed and shorted to see if there is spark, if not use screw driver to hold away from steel (1/4") with end inserted in HT lead,If good spark / faulty spark plug.

Check for
Spark
Fuel to spark plug
No air leaks.

SOURCE: petrol strimmer,, spark at plug,, petrol & 2

I have a flymo 430 petrol strimmer and cannot start it. ive cleaned the filter, put in new plug it went first time and then stopped and wont start again the plug seems to get wet all the time any ideas
