VIN doesn't matter. You need to read the serial number from radio housing. Then go to your dealer. Sometimes you'll be happy and get the code for free. Sometimes dealers charge for this. You can also try to ask some independent specialists. Anyway: the start point is serial no. of the radio.
Radio code is specific for each and every car. It is
specific like anti theft code.
So you can get it by providing
your VIN# and registration details in authorised dealership.Nobody else
can provide you. If anybody can provide you that , then there is no
meaning of security for your car..
The anti-theft program has kicked in (usually activated by the wrong code being put in 2 times). Turn the ignition key to position 1, and turn the radio on. After 1 or 2 hours, the word code will be displayed. At this time, if you put in the correct code, the radio should work.
