You need to put the sata drivers onto a floppy disk and when it asks during the xp setup do you want to install any 3rd party drivers say yes and load the drivers from the floppy. The sata drivers with the floppy generator should be on the drivers cd you recieved.
you need to purchase a usb floppy drive, this happened to me with my new laptop. The driver cd would have come with your motherboard. If not, you should be able to get the sata drivers from the motherboard manufacturers website.
just thought of one other solution. If you bios supports the feature you can disable raid or you may be able to set sata to have native IDE support. This can sometimes work.
im headed out for a few minutes but when i get back ill take care of finding that driver for you.

i don't have a floppy disk ,and no cd for de sata
i try everything in bios still no...i got now the usb floppy but can find the driver....the hard d is wd740adfd raptor 74 gb ....barebone system asus s-presso ,mobo p4p8.....
