Question about Emerson MD-6000 Car DVD Player

My Emerson MD-6000 Car dvd player was working fine, but yesterday when I put a cd only says loading... loading... and then sometimes ejet the cd, other times nothing happen,only loading....What can I do to solve this problem???

Does it do it wwith all types of cd's or just the one? if all types you need to clean the laser with a cleaning disk or even disassemble and clean your self

When I put a DVD in, just keeps trying to load.. finally it cancels all attempts and sts "check disk", all DVD's i've tried have the same result. Player worked yesterday just fine.

I assume that all other dvd"s play ok. Check the format for compatability, was it made on a computer? Look at the bottom of the dvd, it may be corrupted by scratches a scratch on a dvd will sometimes kill it

Cd will no longer load

The symptoms are usually telling you that there is a lens problem. In some case a firmware problem can give the same.
If problem is firmware, the manufacturer will be aware, and there will be an update available.

First contact Emerson to check if a firmware upgrade is available, and follow their instructions to load the update.
Your manufacturer contact is listed on the manual.

If that does not work, it means that there is a lens problem, in that case refer to the instructions below:

The lcd panel is blank, otherwise works fine.

u need to switch function screen to dvd screen. Button is on front of unit to scroll through screens.

Your lens is out of adjustment. Cleaning sometimes work. They aren't hard to open and realign...happens over time

I have emerson portable DVD I played only twice since I bought it

I had the same problem and the slide part of the player some how got moved and it wouldn't play so I took it and moved it all the way to one side and back and then it worked fine.

Constantly ejects disc

Try cleaning the laser lens then take into be serviced if that didnt work.
