Why isn't my canon optura 30 importing videos or pictures to my windows 7 computer? I believe I have the right firewire cord, and it plugs into my computer correctly. The first time it connected, but only loaded to the point where it was "was ready to use", but didn't import the videos. I tried it over and over again, and it wasn't picking up. I looked EVERYWHERE for my video, but couldn't find it. HELP!

My canon Optura 30 will not power on and will not eject the tape. I plugged it in the wall. I popped out the battery and re-inserted it. Nothing happens. What is wrong? What do I need to do? How can I at least eject the tape?
