Question about Harman Kardon AVR 125 Receiver
Recently moved and when I powered up my HK AVR 125 the display was "strobing" like scrolling and flashing, and no sound at all. You can read the display between the strobe effect and see the volume change on the read out when you turn the knob, but there is no sound at all from the speakers or the headphones. I tried all of the inputs and even reset the unit using the tome mode button, but no change. PLEASE HELP! I love this thing, and in 10 years it has never given me any trouble.
Find someone that does TV or audio repair and have them open it up. A cable assembly may have loosened during the MOVE.

Turn the volume down. Maximum volume is not a troubleshooting tool. If it's silent at half volume, it's essentially source-free. No sense blowing your speakers up when we find the setting that's wrong.
Let's us FM for the initial silence issue. Tune a station.
Look carefully at the front panel. Analyze every indicator.
Is MUTED turned on?
Is a Tape selected by mistake?
