Is the camera able to use a 1gb card? Use the Camera Setup Menu to Format the Memory Card. Use camera Setup menu to tell the camera to use the Memory card instead of the Internal memory.
It might be due to a bad contact of the placed memorycard.
1. Pull the memorycard out and in the camera several times and retry. 2. If not OK, format the card in the camera. If that does not work, format it in the computer. 3. Try another memorycard and recheck.
Hello and Welcome to Fixya C:13:01 memory stick error message indicates a Self diagnostic message. In C:13:01 the issue may be with the Internal Memory or with the Memory Stick. To solve it try the following solutions
Format error with the Internal Memory which can be corrected by formatting the Internal Memory. If it is issue with memory stick then turning the power off and on again or taking out and inserting the "Memory Stick" several times may help in resolving the issue. Error may be because of Unformatted "Memory Stick" which can be resolved by formatting the Memory Stick in the Camera If it not remove by formatting in the camera then connect it to PC and tried to format it again but either FAT instead of FAT32 which is the regular format and then reinserted the memory stick and formatted it with the camara. Now it will be solved if it still exist then it means Memory Stick is broken or not compatible which can be resolved by inserting a new compatible Memory stick I hope it will help you Your Rating as Four Thumbs which are given below to this solution will appreciate me Thanks
If you have pictures on the internal memory, you must get rid of them first. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions.
There are several possible causes for memory card errors. Some include trying to use of a 4GB SDHC card with an older camera made before SDHC format came out. Others include problems with the switch on the side of the card, and the switch internal to the camera. Troubleshooting tips for this problem may be found at this link.
Make sure the card is fully pushed in; otherwise it could be the reader. You could try to insert the card into an external card reader connected to a PC. If it is recognized by windows, click "format". If that works put the card back into the camera. If it is now recognized, go to "menu" and format again with the camera. If the card is not recognized, your internal card reader seems to be faulty.
i hvae had this happen many times... ok this is what you will need to do. take the memory card out and look at the little brass things and clean them with something thats cotton. repeat this till it reads. i hope this will help.
First off what is the size of the mem card? Second did you make sure that you formatted the mem card with the camera before you tried to use it? What I would recommed is transfer your files to your computer FIRST. Then format the internal memory of the camera once you have transfered them over. Insert your memory card and then format the mem card. Turn the camera off and take your mem card out. Try taking a video. Turn off camera. Put mem card back in and see if you can transfer that video now and it should work.
there might be a problem with the file system you are using with with memory stick..insert it into card reader > format it with fat 32 file system..and insert it again to solve your problem.....if problem still persist .insert your memory card into mobile and goto your memory card > now select option > there you will see format memory card > so it will format your memory card with correct file system that your mobile wants..... ------------------------------------------- Please let me know your feed-back.
