Suzuki C90 Won't Start

A few days ago I tried to start my C90 & it sould not start, nothing, no sound at all. I waited a few minutes & it turned over right away. Today I tried again and nothing. Does any know what could be going on? Battery seems to have plenty of power.

Check your battery cables, especially the ground cable. Check your ignition switch for loose wires/connections. Check your fuse box. Check your wiring harness for shorts and broken wires. When you say "battery seems to have plenty of power" what does that mean? What test(s) did you perform on it?

Do your lights come on when you turn the ignition on? Have you tested your battery voltage?

I encountered a similar problem with my C90. I ended up replacing the entire right side switch housing assembly. You can't order/replace just the starter switch, 4-way flasher button, etc. you have to replace the entire assembly. After I replaced it everything was good.

Same goes for the left side; if any of the switches are bad you will need to replace the entire assembly.

My car won't start in the cold weather. I don not have Power Locks or Power Windows. What is the Problem?

That sounds like a battery issue. Batteries have whats called CCA (cold cranking amps) it is the main thing to pay attention to. This is a measure of how much current the battery can provide at 0 deg F. Batteries work better when they are warm, so the colder it gets, the less current it can provide.

Starting an engine requires a lot of current, over a very short time. Meanwhile, cold engines are harder to start, requiring more power to get them going. So look at your battery and its CCA and since u said u bought the car a few years ago. You probably didnt replace the battery yet have u? Batteries usually have a life of 4-6 yrs only. Hope this helped

Sputtered for a few days, but now won't start at all. Where should I start?

You should have had it properly diagnosed & all
issues resolved six months ago,now you may have
issues you can't afford to repair.

You obviously need professional help from a repair
shop & soon

Do you think 16oz of anything in 16 gallons of gas,
would do anything other than take your money,NO

1998 Ducati Monster 750 won't start. Ticks over ok, but won't "fire". New fuel in tank only two days ago, ran several trips since, just won't start now. Tried push-start, sounds like...

Carburetors could be dirty/blocked. Open throttle and spray carburetor cleaner in them, wait a few minutes, then start. Also spray carburetor cleaner again when revving. Should fix it.
Also, try starting with no choke and no throttle. It could be flooding.
Clean spark plugs.

I have a Suzuki Vitara 2002.. it'll start and run but then turns off here and there... when it turns off, I try turning it back on but won't start.. it'll only start when I try starting it again about 15...

Write suzuki directly, or contact them, first try your local suzuki dealer , if that doesnt work try corporate offices. This is a very common problem that occurs alot in most suzuki's. I myself just bought a 2001 vitara 2 weeks ago & have the same problem. It starts up fine in the morning but if I stop somewhere with the car & let it idle , it starts to stall & shut off completely & then I have to wait 10 to 20 minutes before it will turn on. Suzuki should admit to this problem & have a recall. I have read hundreds of articles of people all over the states with the same problem. The dealers are telling everyone " well we dont know what the problem is". Its their JOB! They should know!

Backfires

Hi ......... sounds like the petrol is igniting in the pipe, could be valve needs reground (carryout a compression check), leak in the exhaust system (all gaskets & joints good ?). What colour is the spark plug ? Have you recently put a new pipe, filter or re jetted the bike ?
