You will need to disconnect the HDMI cables from the device sources and from your TV and then reconnect making sure that the connection is fully secure enough.Try using another HDMI cable.Connect your device sources to a different port for HDMI then,change the TV's input to match the port that is used.
Hello, You probably hit the input button by mistake. If your using cable TV your input setting will depend on how the TV is connected. If your using an HDMI cable check to see what number HDMI the cable is plugging into on the back of your tv and then set the input button to the same port number. If your tv is connected with RCA cables (red,blue,green) Then hit the input to AV.
Have you tried a different HDMI input? (If available.) You may be able to test the cable box of PS4 using component cables to confirm that all but the HDMI is not working. You may try pushing or holding the HDMI cables to see if you can make the problem better or worse to identify a possible flakey HDMI socket.
If you hookup your TV directly to the coaxial cable, bypassing the cable-box, do you get a few channels? If so, then the coaxial cable is carrying a signal, which is good.
How are you hooking the output from the cable-box to the input(s) on the TV? Coaxial output port on box to coaxial input port on TV?
Red/blue/green "component" outputs on box to matching inputs on TV? Red/White audio outputs on box to red/white inputs on TV? HMDI output from box to HDMI input on TV?
You have to "tell" the TV which of the inputs:
* coaxial (with TV set to Channel 3 or 4)
* component
* HDMI
to "listen" to.
hi, 1080p full hd video can obtainonly through hdmi. for that u need a full hd blue ray player or full hd sat receiver . the tv automatically changed to full hd according to the input connecting to it .go to hdmi setting and check whether hdmi connectivity is ON. also check the hdmi setup of ur input device. ok
I think your cable box is old version together with weak signal caused this problem. I guess you are using coaxial cable hooked up to the TV at TV cable input jack.
At the TV there are some better quality inputs which are real digital transmission (audio and video) HDMI and components (digital video and analog audio).
The most simple and best quality is HDMI provided the box has HDMI output.
Secondly is component inputs. There are 5 cable trends in which 3 of them (red, blue, green) for video and the rest 2 are for audio (red , white). The cable box should have same color accordingly as ouput. Please note that the color must be matched otherwise you will see the screen has one color only.
Playing a DVD player to see picture good or not. If picture is good, TV has no problem at all.
it sounds like there is a problem with either the output on the PS3 or the input on the circuit board of the TV. I would try a reset on the PS3 first. Also make sure that there are no other video or audio cords plugged into the PS3 because this will cause the PS3 not to send the signal via the HDMI.
On your TV set remote are you selecting the proper input; for example when you have different devices connected to the back of your tv set, dvd player, vcr, cable box etc; you have to tell the tv which device you want to use by selecting the right one on your tv remove input selection. Hope this was any help.
