Why does light go on then immediately off again and my Nintendo D S won't charge Why does the light go on then straight off again and my Nintendo lite wont Charge

Is the light blinking while you wiggle the plug? If so there are one of two problems one is that your cord is broke. Or two the jack on your DS is broken. Try replacing the cord first as it is cheaper.

My ds lite won't charge.. the orange light appeared blinked

We had this problem with a brand new DS Lite...turns out it was a bad charger. If you have access to another charger, try that first. Good luck!

It wont turn no matter how long i charge it

does the orange light flash of a few seconds after you plug it in? If it does, I think that it is a battery problem. After a lot of charges, the battery's capacity decreases. If the orange light just flashes, I would try a new battery http://www.nintendorepairshop.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=191&cat=Nintendo+DS+Lite+Batteries for ds lite battery or http://www.nintendorepairshop.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=188&cat=Nintendo+DS+Batteries for a ds battery (both $8)

Ds lite suddenly stopped working

The orange light goes off when the battery has been charged to its highest capacity. After every charge, the batteries capacity is decreased. Get a new battery, that should do it.

My DS power

How long have you had that battery in your DS? The more you use (play and charge) the battery, the battery's capacity is decreased. Try getting a new battery at,
usg.html">http://www.calcellular.com/ntd-ba-usg.html (for DS lite)
or
nds.html">http://www.calcellular.com/ntd-ba-nds.html (for DS).

Nintendo ds wont charge

cheekiemunke,

First of all, your DS Lite is charging both ways.....with power on and without power on.
You have for almost 99% sure a blown fuse F2 on the systemboard.
If you can solder you can try to replace it with a new one but be adviced, it is tricky if you don't have the skills with soldering SMD components and it can send your DS lite to the trash.
So my advice is find someone that repair DS Lites or order a fuse on eBay and try it yourself.

Regards

John

Ds is fully charged and won't come on.

Does your Nintendo DS Lite still have a warranty? If so, then send it in to Nintendo for repair.

Ds lite ac wall charger

When you first get the DS it will have a bit if charge on it but only a few hours worth. When the DS charges it usally comes up with a orange/red ish light then that goes out about a few hours later when its charged. ad if you want to chek if it is charging correcly turn the DS on whilst it is charging and the little battery simble in the top right corner should show the battery carging.
