The device will not turn off. Power button is not working.No problems with the other functions. I turned it off last night and plugged it in to recharge, and this morning the device was on and I haven't been able to turn it off.

Fn/F9 or another combination can lock some keyboards. Look at the images on the Function keys and see if one looks like a keyboard, perhaps with a line through it.

A restart might be necessary. When computers go to sleep, sometimes the USB devices won't wake afterwards. You can go into Device Manager once your KB is reconnected and set all USB ports to not "turn off to save power".

Not quite enough information. But, there is no reset button. Open unit check fuse. test all 3 door switches. They are the number one cause of problems and can take out the fuse or not. Other than that it will take more trouble shooting to find the problem

You could try a hard reset.

Hold down the power button and the home button at the same time until the device completely shuts down and the Apple logo appears.

Does it do this in all setting on the dial, normal,heavy ,delicate?

Flashing is either an error code or the set trying to boot up--some of the Mitsubishi sets if power removed will blink for a minute and then stop--then the set can be turned on.

Try this procedure! click here. After checking your power supply and it is working fine, put it back again into your computer casing. Next thing to do is to check your motherboard switch (power on). Look for the manual of your motherboard and look for the power on switch. If you find it then get a screw driver and short the pin using the screw driver. Be careful not to touch the other pin! But you have to check all the computer components to determine what is exactly the cause why it's not functioning. If it's not turning on your computer while you short the power switch on that means probably your motherboard fail. Other option is, in order to troubleshoot the problem of your computer you must have an extra computer with the same model and plug all your components there one by one to determine what is exactly the problem of your computer. Then you can decide what computer parts need to be replace. Have a nice day!

This is just a shot - but it worked with my Sony (same problem).
Pressed remote power on button AND held Power button on TV on at the same time.

Set clicked 4 or 5 times and then came on....

Other, most have a (VERY small) reset switch on the rear - near where the power cord enters the TV... Use a flashlight and a mirror to locate it on your set....

turn device over and look for tiny reset button near to power connect strip. then use a blunt safety pin to reset,this should allow you to then turn it on,this works on 500 ,700 ,900 , 510 , 710 , 910 , hope this helps .

Unplug it from the wall, wait 2 minutes and plug it back in. if problem still exists, its probably the main pcb.

check your keyboard connection (unplug and plug again). If not works try another of same type.
