Question about Samsung Digimax 301 Digital Camera

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

SOURCE: Card Locked
I had this problem too. I took out the SD card (which was unlocked), locked it, then unlocked it again. Then I put it back in the camera and it recognised it as unlocked.

SOURCE: memory card stuck in camera slot
No need for pliers! I was able to eject the memory card by sliding a packing knife along the edge of the memory card. The blade was very thin, narrow, and long. I'm not sure if a regular box cutting knife blade would do. I've been able to eject the memory card with ease about a dozen times using this method.
Since I can't eject the SD card on the go, I use the USB cable to download images from the camera. Glad to know I can remove this when absolutely necessary, but sure wish I could remove anytime I'd like.
