More than likely you will need to replace the display screen but before you do take the screen out and reseat the LCD connector. This will sometimes fix a white screen.

If not, a new LCD screen runs about 15 dollars shipped from eBay and is pretty easy to replace.

This usually indicates it needs to be re-flashed. Take to phone repair person and have the firmware re-installed. If it has gotten damp this will sometimes happen as well.
