Everex How do I get my everex computer out of readonly so that I can use the recovery cd

When you start up the computer there should be something in the boot up that says press this key to restore or something like that before you get to windows. The rs2800 has a secondary partition that has all of the files and windows installations to restore the PC back to factory install.
