Audio Problem with Firewire

AJ-D230H doesn't have a USB connection. A firewire interface is an option, but they're very hard to find; have been discontinued by Panasonic.

I have seen this problem before, and it was due to a bad servo board.

Personaly I would use either windows movie maker, nero, or the applicatiom that came with the camera just to get it to the PC.

From there It would be easier to edit etc.

Yes you need to use th AJ-CS750P on the 230, I have had it work with almost every type of DVCpro machine.

without knowing the exact error message, I can only speculate, but most rewind errors I have seen with the AJ-D230 are related to problems with capacitors on either the reel motor driver board or the system control board. the firewire upgrade (AJ-YAD230) is no longer available.

ebayd AJ-D230H got four sellers of the deck, maybe ask the sellers what else they have for accessories

most common cause for this problem is defective electrolytic capacitors on the mechanical interface board. a good electronic tech should be able to replace them.
