Lawn tractor wont start

First make sure your battery is fully charged. The charger on lawn tractors will not keep the battery fully charged as they just produce a light charge. Check battery before the starter but if battery is fully charged then it's possible the starter could be bad.

Check the battery connections are clean and tight and that the battery is in good condition and fully charged. If you're not sure about the battery, use a fully charged car battery and a set of jump leads to test that the tractor will start OK.

Have you checked the battery terminal connections? Is the battery charged fully? Are you sitting on the seat when you try to crank the mower? Could be any of the above but most likely battery connection or the battery is discharged or old.

Hi, is the deck engagement lever off or the pto switched off? If it uses a lever check the switch on the lever. If it uses a pto check the pto switch. Hope this helps, regards Phil.

i have a rally lawn tractor when i hook up the battery it wants to start key is off only thing i did was change the belt. was working fine before .

the starter is bad but first check the starter with key turned tap the starter with a hammer it should jar it over and get it to start.

IF YOU HAVE A NEW BATT IT COULD NEED THE VALVE LASH RE SET

check the cilanoid or the stater , you may also have a lose conaction, try cross jumping the cilanoid
