Can you describe the high pitch noise in more detail? Is it a steady sound or does it change up and down in a pattern? Is it like a whistle or a whining noise? Did the surge happen when you were using it? Use the comment button below and I'll see if I can help you more.
My first thought is that the power surge may have damaged something on the circuit board in the control panel or possibly the motor for the belt. As I can't hear the sound I can't offer a lot of help. There are companies out there that can repair treadmills.
try to lube the deck belt +rollers bearing front+back+test drive belt motor, and replace if necessary. However after you lube , the problem persist TIME to replace the old deck belt.
LUBE the deck belt + rollers bearings .However test the rollers bearing main motor. If the problem persist time to replace the deck belt old board. God bless you
1) LUBE the DECK BELT inmediately, maybe you have a WORN deck replace if is necessary. 2) LUBE the rollers bearings 3) test the motor bearings and repair see the diagram God bless you
It sounds like you have a bad bearing. If you are not familiar with repairing/replacing bearings on a treadmill, I suggest you contact NordicTrak and have a tech come out and repair it.
