I cleaned the drain tube and still getting these error codes
SOURCE: Maytag Neptune Error COde "nd"
This is now the 3rd time this has happened. The 1st 2 times it cost me ~$100 to have a technician come in and fix.
This time, I did it easily. For my Maytag Neptune washer, I removed the back panel (2 screws). On the bottom tray is the water discharge pump. On the output side of the pump there is a small cavity under the rubber flapper where a nickle fits perfectly. I removed the nickle, reattached the output drain line. started it up ...
and viola! the problem solved.

If this machine is like other of its type then you may find the manual taped to the inside of the machine near the bottom side panel.
open the bottom access panel (3 screws on bottom front lip) and look for it as it will have the codes. near where the filter is .
while you were down there cleaning the filter did you check that the pump impellers move freely and were not clogged with any debris.
SOURCE: dc error code, what does that mean?
I just did a repair on my FAV6800AAW by lubricating the needle bearings in the clutch pulley hub, the tub displacement sensor checked OK per the service manual check. I was getting dc/uc errors, washer was purchased in 7/05. I have basic mechanical skills and used a socket wrench to remove clutch pulley hub, just follow the service manual removal steps to remove clutch pulley hub. Pull the plastic cover off the clutch pulley hub and inspect the spring, clean/lube needle bearings and the clutch hub coupler that drives spinner shaft. I used WD40 I may need to re-lube down the road with a good light grease. It took a few tries for me to get the clutch pulley hub to stay on after re-install and power up, getting the clutch pulley seated properly is the trick. I did not remove the washer tub for this fix, I believe I saw a posting where someone did. I just leaned the washer back to get a better reach angle, it is a tight work area. I did not want to junk 3.5 yr old $1k machine with out trying a fix. If you want to work on this model get the service manual, I found it online and I believe you can order it in PDF format from Maytag. Good luck!
I just went thru my 10th load of a mix of light, medium and heavy loads and all work fine no unbalance errors (DC/UC). Doesn’t fix the tangle problem :) Prior to this fix I could only run the washer with no clothes in it to complete a cycle with no dc/uc error codes.
SOURCE: Stops mid-cycle, does not drain, displays nd error code?
Hello.
That code is telling you that the unit is draining to slow. After 15 minutes it is not below the low water level and will not spin out. The best repair for this is to replaced the pump on your unit.
SOURCE: error code f-21, cleaned drain then error code rl
Hello,"F21" is a Long Drain error code which is usually an indication that
you may have an obstruction somewhere in the drainage system. Most
commonly, there is something lodged in the drain pump or inlet line
running from the wash tub to the pump. There is a white screw off cap
on the drain pump that you can remove to inspect the pump impeller and
clean. The following link explains.
http://www.fixya.com/support/r3608588-f21_error_code
Included is a follow-on link that explains how to check the drain pump
to clean. You may also have to remove the inlet hose that runs from the
bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the drain pump. Debris and
small articles of clothing such as socks or under garments can become
lodged in this area as well causing the drain cycle to fail.
NOTE:
A "SUD" error code can often occur in conjunction with the "F21" error
code. This is due to air being detected in the drainage system, which
can occur if the pump is not running, or if you have an obstruction
BEFORE the pump. You need to remove the inlet hose from the pump to
ensure it is also not blocked. Correct your drainage system fault, and
the SUD error (if displayed) should go away.
NOTE: If these
preliminary measures do not correct your problem, you may have to
replace the drain pump. It does not take much to damage the pump
impeller or motor. Since the error code is generated if the drain cycle
exceeds 8 minutes, if the pump is damaged and can't pump at the
required volume, the error code will continue to appear until the pump
is replaced.
Thanks
