I just went through this agony for 3 days and found this on another blog for reseting the TV. It totally worked and got me to the language set up. Go to the front panel of the panel. Manually turn the TV OFF. Via the Front Panel push the INPUT (Function) Button in & Hold. Now use the power button on the front of the TV & turn ON the TV. I then used the remote to arrow up to English. TaDa!
Unless you can find an Arabic speaker, your best bet is to look up the Arabic word for "language" on the Net and just play around with menu options until you find something that looks similar. Or check your instruction manual to see how you'd navigate from the main menu to the language selection option.

Start > Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Regional and Language Options.
Once in the Regional and Language Options, click the Keyboards and Languages
tab. If you see a drop down list of languages, see if it is set to
English. If not, set to English. However, if you do not have this list
there, you may need to install it.

According to Hitachi themselves, there is no such set with model number C29-F100. The closest one they have on file is the C29-F800. Perhaps your set is an over-seas set, originally sold in Japan? The original remote has a MENU button surrounded by 4 "arrow" buttons - arrow up, down, left and right. For the C29-F800, using the original remote, press the MENU button 4 times or the SETUP button once. There should be 4 choices on that page and the first one, the one on top, is LANGUAGE. Highlight the first one using the "arrow down" (also labeled P-) button and select the language ENGLISH using the left or right arrow buttons. Exit the menu by pressing MENU 3 more times or SETUP once. I believe I can download the owner's manual for the C29-F800 and send it to you if you need it.
