Samsung hlt5075sx, had lamp replaced a few months ago and now after a few hours when i turn it off and try to turn it back on the led's flash and it want come back on until it cools i put a small fan on it for extra cooling and it helped now it has quit no picture no sound checked lamp it dont look blowed and i can see the color wheel spinning and ever thing looks good

BenQ warrants their lamps at 500 hours...I had one go at 420 hours for my projectors, had to contact the company for a return number and pay to ship the entire unit back to them, then they sent me my unit back with a new bulb installed. Process took about a month.

ballast or smps board (power supply board) or the main board. Had same problem, replaced lamp, ballast and power supply, worked for 2 weeks now front lights flashing again. ordered main board per samsung tech. support.
Manual says you need to replace the lamp:

Regarding the tv turning, my question is, do you hear a clicking sound? if so, it's most probable tio be your ballast, that might not have enough voltage to keep on with your lamp, and that's why it shuts off.
You could try replacing it and seeing if it resolves your issue, I believe they're running around 70 dlls..

The buzzing sound you most likely hear is the ballast trying to fire up the lamp. I would say replace the lamp and yes they can act up at will. If this is the first lamp replacement ever then you are doing good.
