Sometimes volume won't stop going up when I press +/- control

I would advise you try a firmware update first. This can sometimes fix the problem. The following link shows how to do this:

If that does not work, I would advise you contact Logitech and just make sure you tell them you have already done a firmware update

I would call or email in to logitech and suggest that they copy some of the learned commands for your bose system into your harmony remote account.

The commands they add are learned from other customers and they will only copy the best ones. Give it a shot.

Sometimes you need to go into the menu page for the device that doesn't work and you need to "learn" the keys to the new remote. "Learn" meaning pressing the buttons on your original remote with the Infrared part of the remote facing the Infrared part of the new remote. This will help the Harmony remote duplicate the signal to the device you want to operate.
